‘Here, There and Everywhere’ is a single channel video that shows the obsession often recognized as a woman’s characteristic while singing the famous song by The Beatles. The song’s lyrics and melody is romantic and sweet, but performed by the artist herself, the context of the song changes into infatuation. By self-filming on the iPhone, the obsession is more towards the self than the hypothetical lover, which reflects the current reproduction of oneself through prodigal use of technological mobile platforms. In the video, the iPhone is installed as a part of the exhibition just like the phone’s position when being charged in daily life, and keeps on singing the song endlessly. This reflects the contemporary technological life we live: like a phantom, here, there and everywhere.
